Autumn/Winter Makeup trends 2013-2014

Winter is almost here!~
So here are some high-fashion makeup trends straight from the catwalk that are actually wearable!
From lip stains instead of matte lipsticks, to berry/burgundy shades, peachy and copper eyeshadow, total refusal of mascara and eyebrow grooming, plain natural looks vs. extremely smudged smoky eyes - this Autumn/Winter makeup looks couldn't be more diverse.

1.Cara Delavigne eyebrows
Forget the skinny drawn-on eyebrows, this winter is all about thick ungroomed eyebrows. The messier the better! So feel free to escape your eyebrow routine unless it's for thicken them up.
2. Modern 60's

This one is my favorite! A take on the 60's, graphic monochromatic eyes with long lower lashes or Twiggy like swoops. A more dolly wide-eye feel by Maxime Simoens that resembles the Japanese urban trends.
3. Lip stains
Lip stains are easy to use, liquidy to slight-glossy products that give your lips a nice touch of color without obliterating their natural texture. Depending on the color, it can create the most natural lip look or emphasize your already matte lipstick.
4. Berry hues
Berry/Burgundy tones are big this season. With a soft neutral eye-makeup or dark eyeshadow there's a slight Romantic Goth feel to it.
5. Smudgy eye
Can't achieve the perfect smokey eye? Nevermind keeping it neat, sultry smudged eyeliner over black and brown eyeshadow is Roberto Cavalli's look however, smudged does not mean messy!
6. No Mascara
A completely natural look that would lack even the slightest hint of makeup if not for the rosy/nude lipstick. No mascara, no blush. Overall most makeup artists refrained from using blush or did it very sparingly. So let a good light to medium foundation with light reflecting properties do the job of accentuating your natural face features.
7. Peachy/Copper shades
Peachy and copper eyeshadow as a wash. An "all over" color on the lid extended to the brow bone, if done correctly it's a an easy and effective look.

So have fun trying out some of these high fashion yet wearable looks!
